Phase 3 -
Pole Acrobatics
Pole Position Instructor Training is supervised by
a Pole Position Master Trainer.
The Pole Position Training will review the guidelines
set forth in Phase 2 Pole Strength and then will
progress to more advanced guidelines for teaching the
advanced and expert participant. You must pass both your
practical and written exam for Phase 2 prior to
participating in Phase 3. During the workshop we will review the concepts outlined in
the recommended training materials and study guide. The
Instructor Training process will conclude with a practical exam and
a written exam, and you will receive a certificate of
completion.
Pole Acrobatics is 25% Movement and 75%
Weight Bearing Activity (spins/tricks)
Tricks will focus on acrobatic tricks
that can not be broken down effectively into a
beginners, intermediate and advanced version of each.
You will learn multiple teaching techniques for each
trick, spotting techniques, as well regularly executed
pit falls that interfere with their ability to perform
tricks successfully.
Participants will learn advanced and
expert pole dance safety and foundation, fitness
industry based teaching techniques and skills for expert
students, and will get in depth guidance how to
incorporate fitness into each class to ensure each class
member maximizes their workout. Lastly, you will learn
to teach the art of the spinning pole, the art of trick
transitions and the art of performance.
