Become a Vertical Group Fitness instructor using the most comprehensive tools the fitness industry has to offer.
This course is offered in 3 fun and comprehensive 8 hour modules. After the completion of each module you will participate in a written and a practical exam and receive a certificate of completion in each module. ie. You complete Module 1 and you are certified to teach Vertical Fitness. Each module builds on the previous module so please don't jump ahead. You are welcome to complete each module at your own pace. Module 1 - Pole 101 = Vertical Fitness Module 2 - Pole 201 = Vertical Strength Module 3 - Pole 301 = Vertical Acrobatics
Every module is supervised by a Vertical Group Fitness Master Trainer. These are the finest fitness professionals in the industry. They will lead you through the guidelines for teaching pole dancing based on safe and effective exercise guidelines, they will review the concepts outlined in the recommended training materials and review the study guide. The training process will conclude with a practical exam and a written exam, and you will receive a certificate of completion. Our programs grow with you. After completing Module 1, you will receive program updates quarterly, these are called Module Updates.
All Vertical Group Fitness programs are based on ACSM guidelines for safe and effective fitness, and are recognized by AFAA and ACE.
The Vertical Group Fitness instructor certificate of completion is valid for 2 years. At the end of 2 years all certified instructors will be required to submit 10 hours of continuing education. All credits from any reputable fitness or pole dancing organization will be recognized; including but not limited to VGF, AFAA, ACE, ACSM, TKB, yoga, pilates, pole, core & functional training, etc.
